Just got back from 2 night stay in the glamping pod with my family. The owner was lovely, really accommodating went out his way to make sure I could use my blue light code. The glamping pod was fresh and an absolute bargain for what we paid. The toilets were clean and had everything you needed for a shower, especially given the price you pay you get a clean basic shower room which is enough for a family of 4. The area is lovely and clean and you can see the people who own it/work there clearly put their heart into what they do. If your looking for a quiet relaxing break at good value for money I highly recommend. Fab place to stay thank you

We stayed in Cedar Lodge Lakeside, as a family of 6 adults, 3 children (9, 7 and 2) and 1 infant (1 month) for a 60th birthday celebration. All had a fantastic stay, with beautiful views across the lake. Watching the geese come in each morning and leave each night was a highlight. The lodge itself was very clean with all required features.and amenities. It all felt very expensive and luxurious. The only negative would be the showers in the upstairs bathrooms which, for a larger person are very small and the doors do not completely close, however this is if I was being picky. Everything else was amazing. The grounds are clean and well kept. The activities provided on the lake are great, paddle-boarding was a lot of fun with a lovely view from the water park. The instructor was fab. However, as an improvement I think you should be notified on check in that you have to pre-book the activities. This would also be a good idea to mention in your booking confirmation, or sending an email 2 weeks before arrival to remind you to book. Due to this, the children were unable to go on the float, which was the only age appropriate thing for them. We went into Blackpool one day, which was a 15 minute drive. We plan to re book next year.

We had a full service pitch for our touring caravan. The pitch was clean, tidy and with all services it was plot 53. We managed to pitch the awning on the grass really good spot adjacent to services. The reception staff were helpful and professional. Cant complain at all. Very good.

Great place to stay!
We were a party of 9.....kids and 4 adults. We stayed in the Ladybank lodge which was well equipped and very comfortable. I won’t stay anywhere else when visiting Blackpool but next time going to try for the lakeside lodge. Quiet, clean and wonderful hot tub. Blackpool is less than 15 mins away. Highly recommend this place and can’t wait to return!

Much needed family time
Having worked throughout the pandemic we really needed some family time. Having two boys one 8 and the other 13 it's hard to please everyone. So when we came across the lynx helicopter we jumped at the chance. We arrived and it was easy to find and staff were so friendly. The helicopter was spotless and campsite so clean right down to the showers and loos. We have already highly recommended to all our family and friends. We will definitely be camping again.... Maybe a lodge next time without the kids ????
